Our classic, golden Amstel Beer, with its very distinctive and mildly bitter taste, has over the years become well known beyond the borders of its native country.
Tasting Notes:
Birra Moretti is a quality beer made in the traditional way. It is the result of a production process that has remained almost unchanged since 1859.
Bombardier Amber Beer is brewed using the finest British Hops and fresh mineral water from the Eagle Brewery Well. A fruity aroma and rich malty taste provides a crisp, mouth-watering beer. Tangy fuggles hops and sultana fruit flavour finish off the palate. Bombardier is a beer for those who embrace their independent spirit and march to their own drum.
Award winning American hopped golden ale. Brewed with a blend of the 7 “C” hops, including Cascade, Citra & Chinook to give a light and citrusy hop burst.
A pleasant, fruity, lighter-styled quaffing lager
Tasting Notes: A light-coloured lager style, it presents full malt character with a balanced clean hop bitterness. Combined with a slightly hoppy, but yeasty/malty nose, Foster's lager is a full bodied beer with excellent drinkability.
Black as the night with a creamy tan head with a coffee and mild roasted aroma and flavour. Medium (light) bodied and a soft carbonation, a real mellow sweetness.
Session golden ale with full malty flavours, floral and citrus aromas
Bronze and amber colouring with a malt and fruity smell.
Tasting Notes: Malt, hop bitterness, a full body with lasting aftertaste. John Smith’s bitter, which is still going strong, is a malty, bitter sweet ale with a slight fruitiness and a bitter aftertaste – we probably took the words right out of your mouth.
Knowle Spring Blonde is a full-bodied blonde beer brewed with Golden Promise barley malt, Strisselspalt hops from Alsace, and UK-grown Minstrel, Cascade and Chinook hops. A light, refreshing blonde ale with the depth of flavour you expect from Taylor’s beers.
Tasting Notes: An easy-drinking beer with floral and grapefruit aromas, spiced orange on the tongue followed by aromatic citrus hop flavours to finish.
Kronenbourg 1664 is a lager with a noble history, characterized by its fine taste. Its golden hues and delicate bitterness come from selecting the best hops (the Strisselspalt), and the unique know-how of one of the French master brewers.
Tasting Notes: This exceptional beer originated in Alsace in Eastern France and is brewed with the exclusive Strisselspalt hop, known as the caviar of hops, which gives it its unique aromatic and fruity flavour.
Maltsmiths IPA has a caramel base with overlying hop notes of citrus, grapefruit, tropical fruits and a little pine for freshness.
A deep beer with a satisfying finish
Tasting Notes: Crisp and clean with pine and citrus notes, and an earthy hoppy character
The bravest warrior could be driven insane by the piercing eyes and sorrowful wallowing of this wild cat.
Tasting Notes: A frighteningly, easy-drinking session IPA. Dry hopped with Mosaic and Amarillo to give citrus orange and pineapple flavours, and tropical mango on the nose.
Our home town of Masham lies on the eastern edge of the famous Yorkshire Dales in the lower end of Wensleydale, one of the most beautiful areas of the country. Just to the East, lies the Vale of York and beyond the wonderful North York Moors. As such, Masham is in the middle of two of the best moorland areas in the world and home of the uniquely British game bird, the Grouse. Theakston Grouse Beater is our tribute to the many who keep and protect the moors environment ensuring the future for the famous bird and for the pleasure of many thousands of visitors that come from all over to enjoy the unique beauty of the countryside. Grouse Beater is brewed using moorland berries to give a deliciously fruity flavour on a subtle but well-balanced bitter hop and is ideal either on its own accompanying game or light curry dishes.
Tasting Notes: A golden mid-gravity bitter with initial sweetness balnaced with moderate hop bitterness. Dry hopped with 'Fuggles' to give a delicate aroma, complemented by a subtle hint of moorland berry, a favourite with Grouse.
Hoppy Pale Ale
Tasting Notes: This very pale, hoppy ale is made from low colour malt. A combination of Cascade, Columbus & Amarillo hops produce an intensely aromatic and resinous finish.
