A bottle-conditioned strong ale

Tasting Notes: Best poured slowly, 1845 delivers a sweet, fruit cake aroma, a dark tawny colour and a dry finish that sings of spices and raisin. Those fruity characteristics harmonise perfectly with the biscuity malts amid a clever and complex range of subtle flavours, the depth of which you could only find in a live beer fermented in the bottle.

Bengal Lancer 5.0

Inspired by the classic India Pale Ales of times gone by, Fuller’s Bengal Lancer redefines Eastern promise. With a full-bodied flavour and spicy character, it’s an IPA that grabs the reins and leads from the front.

Tasting Notes: Conjuring a landscape of sandstorms and sunsets, Bengal Lancer pours a pale amber colour. On the palate, orange, character is followed by floral and spicy notes from the hops – riding through to a satisfying finish of mild bitterness. Discovery is the first new year-round beer launched by Fuller’s since the 1980s. It was a response to the increasing popularity of lighter golden ales, Discovery boasts the perfect combination of flavour and refreshment.

Tasting Notes: This delicious, premium blonde ale from Fuller’s is the perfect combination of unbeatable flavour and refreshment. Brewed using a unique blend of malted barley and wheat for a delicious malty taste bursting with rich, biscuity flavours, Liberty hops are then added for a distinctive zesty character and fruity bite, whilst Saaz hops add a gentle bitter taste for a clean, refreshing finish.

Tasting Notes: After discovering a new British hop variety known as Jester, it seemed only right to have a little fun with it. Our chief brewers did just that - holding court and coming up with Fool’s Gold. Conjuring a glittering array of tropical and citrus notes, it’s a refreshing, sessionable beer - which, contrary to its name, is very much the real deal.

Imperial Stout 10.7

A classic 18th century stout

Tasting Notes: Rich, dark and special, Imperial Stout delivers roasted dark chocolate notes against a slightly fruity acidity. Sovereign and Centennial hops, meanwhile, bring floral flavour, enhanced by dried rose buds that hint at Turkish delight. There’s a taste of liquorice there too, ahead of a lasting finish with fairly high bitterness.

London Pride 4.1

In recent years its popularity has grown to the extent that it is now Britain’s leading premium ale: a welcome fixture in many pubs and off licences around the country, and now winning new friends abroad.

Tasting Notes: Rich, smooth and elegant on the palate, it draws to a clean, satisfying finish with beautifully balanced bitterness.

London Pride Unfiltered 4.1

A bold, contemporary and timeless interpretation of an iconic cask ale, brewed true to London Pride’s original recipe. London Pride Unfiltered is dry hopped for added character, served cold for added refreshment and unfiltered for added flavour.

Tasting Notes: A harmonious balance of malty sweetness and clean bitterness, with a clean, crisp taste and creamy head. Brewed with Northdown and challenger hops for aroma, and dry hopped with target for added character. Fuller’s yeast creates orange and toffee notes. The unfiltered nature of the beer locks in the flavour, giving it a slight haze.

Montana Red Rye Ale 4.5

Montana - known the world over for its wild, natural beauty. A place where rugged earth forges mountain peaks and waterfalls, and where all manner of flora and fauna thrive. The perfect namesake then, for this naturally beautiful beer.

Tasting Notes: Pouring a red colour, Montana Red opens with fresh aromas of grapefruit and blackcurrant. On the palate, seasonal Autumn flavours sweep through from the rye crystal, while the Galaxy hops bring scene-stealing sweet and citrusy passionfruit. It’s all set against a backdrop of malty, warm, bready notes, giving rise to a beer of deep and distinct flavour.

Oliver's Island 3.8

Tasting Notes: On the palate, there’s distinctive biscuity, grapefruit flavour, tropical notes and refreshing zesty qualities, before the beer draws towards the line with a crisp, malty finish.

Red Fox 4.3

First seen in autumn 1999, Fuller’s Red Fox is back on the bars this year with that same rich, red ruby colour and toasted oats flavour that make it the perfect pint for the season of mists and mellow fruitfulness.

Tasting Notes: Tawny in colour with a lasting, medium, off-white head of lacy bubbles, Red Fox features a little yeast and forest fruit on the nose and offers a taste of biscuit and caramel with the tang of blackberry, toast and marmalade in the finish.

Redwood 4

A rich red ale for spring time

Tasting Notes: Brewed with pale ale and Imperial malts, Gales Redwood is a forest of biscuity, malty flavour - while sweeter bready notes and deep red colour come from the addition of rye crystal. Pride of Ringwood and Galaxy hops bring lighter flavours like passion fruit and citrus to the palate, before that gently spiced finish.

Tasting Notes: Faintly fruity on the nose, this light amber beer sails a steady course through well-developed malt character towards a satisfying, hoppy finish. The Gales yeast brings out soft fruit flavours, while the hops impart a zesty, spicy quality to the brew.

Southern Star 4.0

Southern Star is a golden spring ale inspired by the land down under. The particular star in question is the Australian ‘Ella’ hop - bringing its luscious tropical touch to a Fuller’s ale for the first time.

Spring Sprinter 4.0

A light zesty spring ale

Tasting Notes: Brewed to 4% ABV, Spring Sprinter is refreshing to the palate and bursting with zesty hop flavours that pick out citrus and gooseberry.  English malts provide the balance, with distinctive biscuity sweetness coming through - before the beer races to a short, sharp finish.

Wild River 4.5

Wild River is a double hopped pale ale that uses some of the finest American hops available such as Liberty, Willamette, Cascade and Chinook.

Tasting Notes: he hops have been fully infused into the beer to deliver an instant zesty grapefruit flavour. The malt brings a balancing fullness to the hops but the pleasant hop bitterness leaves a wonderful linger on the palate.
