The new stylish interior of Hobson's Bar is inspired by the work of Kurt Schwitters, one of the most influential artists of the 20th century. He has influenced many artists including Damian Hurst and Ed Ruscha. His final work known as the Merzbarn was produced in a barn in Cylinders Wood opposite the Langdale Estate entrance.
