Irving Admiral 4.3

A classic dark Oatmeal stout, brewed with a combination of Roasted Barley, Chocolate Malt and Crystal Wheat Malt to give a deep black colour and Oat Malt to give a smooth rounded malt flavour.

Tasting Notes: This lovely malt flavour is balanced with a strong bitterness from Fuggles and Sovereign Hops, definitely a beer for the aficionados!

Irving Albion 4.1

A Straw coloured Golden Ale with a distinctive floral harvest aroma. An ideal summer ale to quaff throughout the balmy evenings .

Tasting Notes: The palate has dominant tropical fruit and citrus notes balanced by a light malt character from the pale Marris Otter malt used in the brewing process. The finish has a lasting bitterness complemented with Orange zest flavours from the English Pioneer hops used in the hopback.

Irving Captain B. 5.3

A special Spiced Rum Ale with a strong sweet and spicy taste with flavours of Cinnamon and Vanilla with dark sugar notes.

Irving Duncan 4.5

A burnished gold coloured ale with a fresh grass aroma, the palate has soft fruits and a subtle soft roasted malt flavour. The finish is initially a smooth oat malt character followed by a lasting vibrant bitterness.

Irving Frigate 3.8

Golden bitter with citrus hop flavour derived from the addition of English Sovereign and Boudicea hops in the hopback. Complemented by a background sweetness from the subtle use of light crystal and cara-malt

Irving Illustrious 4.7

A Light golden pale ale with mandarin and lemon hop notes on the nose. This “lusty” ale has a resinous challenger hop flavour complimented with a light sweet malt character, the finish is a lasting bitterness with floral hop notes.

Irving Invincible 4.6

A full bodied medium chestnut coloured premium cask ale with an initial sweet malty flavour balanced with a subtle bitterness. The beer finishes with a delicious citrus and spice hop character

Irving Iron Duke 5.3

Iron Duke is a luscious golden modern style IPA.

Tasting Notes: The nose is dominated by the aromas of sherbet and lemon from the Liberty and Columbus hops added late in the hopback. The palate is soft fruits and pineapple balanced with a subtle toffee sweetness, finishing with a pleasant citrus bitterness.

Irving Pompey Glory 4.7

A light golden Pale Ale. The beer has citrus lemon hop notes on the nose. This celebration ale has a distinctive challenger hop flavour complimented with a light malt character, the finish is a subtle bitterness with floral hop notes

Tasting Notes: 

Irving Red Plum 5.0

A classic Christmas Ale, rich warm and satisfying. Red plum has three types of Crystal malt added to give a distinctive and unique sweet biscuity flavour and a slight red hue, making the beer appealing to the eye as well as the palate.

Tasting Notes: Subtle spicy hop notes make this a beer to sit down and savour through the festive period, a time when we all deserve something as special as this.

Irving Shipmate 4.3

A golden slightly hazy wheat beer brewed in traditional Witbier style using both malted wheat malted barley and malted oats, with the addition of Orange peel and Coriander alongside the syrian goldings hops.

Tasting Notes: The nose is a pleasant orange and lemon zest, with a malt sweetness on the palate leading to a lasting almost warming spicy coriander finish.

Irving Spinnaker 4.5

Brewed with English Challenger and First Gold Hops, this straw coloured summer ale has a fresh malt and mandarin aroma, soft fruits are the dominant flavour with a lasting bitter hoppy finish.

A golden bitter infused with lemongrass, coriander, cardamon and lime.

A burnished Gold coloured Harvest Ale brewed with English Challenger Hops for bitterness and aroma, complemented with subtle smooth roasted malt sweetness.

Irving Type 42 4.2

A robust best bitter with a deep ruby red hue obtained from the use of a generous addition of crystal malt.

Tasting Notes: This beer balances sweet hedgerow berry notes with a long roasted malt finish and a deep bitterness from the English Pilgrim hops used in the copper and the hopback.

Irving Vanguard 5.2

A traditional Hampshire Strong ale, initially has a sweet malty nose followed with a deep raisin and fruitcake flavour balanced with a subtle bitterness from the Fuggles and Sovreign Hops.

Irving Wee Malc's 4.3

A Scottish style malty beer brewed in the style of some of the Scotch Ales of yesteryear.

Tasting Notes: "Wee Malc's" is a medium chestnut colour with a deep caramel and vanilla flavour and aroma.
