Drink % Brewery
Amber Ales Barnes Wallis 4.1 Amber Ales - CLOSED

Named after Ripley's local hero, who lived near the brewery tap, Barnes Wallis is a best selling session ale.

Tasting Notes: Styled as an easy-drinking IPA-style bitter, copper-coloured for a full malt flavour and hopped with Northern Brewer and spicy Syrian Goldings.

BG Sips 4 Blue Monkey Brewery

Winner of the Peterborough 2009 Beer Festival, Overall champion of Devizes 2010 beer festival.

Tasting Notes: A pale and intensely hoppy beer. Enticing tropical fruit aromas, finished with a good level of thirst quenching, almost peppery bitterness.

Bombardier Glorious English 4.1 The Eagle Brewery - DO NOT USE

Savour the distinct aroma, then surrender to the perfect balance of malty richness, tangy hops and sultana fruit on the palate.

Tasting Notes: Their own natural mineral water, the ripest English fuggles hops and crushed crystal malt deliver this experience of England in a glass. Brace yourself for a long soft spicy finish.

Brampton Best 4.2 Brampton Brewery

Brewed using only traditional and classically english malt and hop combinations

Tasting Notes:

Castle Rock Harvest Pale 3.8 Castle Rock Brewery

Described by esteemed beer writer Roger Protz as… “The finest blonde beer I’ve drunk in many a year”

Tasting Notes: Harvest Pale is brewed with a gently-kilned malt, and an aromatic blend of American hops added during the brewing process gives this 3.8% alc pale beer exceptional poise. Its distinct hop flavour leads to a crisp finish. Harvest Pale has firmly established itself as Castle Rock’s Flagship Beer. SIBA National Champion Bitter 2004, Champion Bitter of Britain 2007 and Champion Beer of Britain 2010.

Landlord 4.3 Timothy Taylor's Brewery

The drinkers' favourite, a 4.3% classic pale ale with a complex citrus and hoppy aroma

Tasting Notes: A strong classic ale with a golden amber colour. It has a scent of caramel, light fruits and roasted malt hints.
