Morgan, The

A child and dog friendly pub serving food with WiFi and a garden in Great Malvern.

The Morgan is named in celebration of the Morgan car, which is made just a few miles away. Links between us and the Morgan Motor Company include the fact that the first Morgan spent much of its life in Stoke Lacy, home of our brewery. With its comfy interior and spacious garden, it’s a great place to go to chat with your chums about motoring around the Malverns in your dream Morgan car (such as a Morgan Aero SuperSports in Wye Valley Brewery cream!).

Butty Bach 4.5 Wye Valley Brewery Ltd

‘Butty Bach’ is Welsh term meaning ‘little friend’. This full-bodied, smooth and satisfying premium ale is burnished gold in colour, and certainly has made a few friends in its time

Tasting Notes: We brew it using Maris Otter and Crystal malts, flaked barley, malted wheat, and locally grown Fuggles, Goldings and Bramling Cross hops. With such fine ingredients, no wonder it remains a firm favourite among our followers.

Hereford Pale Ale - HPA 4.0 Wye Valley Brewery Ltd

A delightful straw-coloured ale with a wonderful citrus hop aroma. Truly distinctive.

Tasting Notes: HPA is a truly delightful pale ale. It’s smooth on the palate, and boasts a citrus hop aroma leading to a balanced bitter finish. Locally grown Target and Celeia hops play an important part in making this such a distinctive beer. With Maris Otter pale malt and malted wheat also being used, this is very much a pale ale with all the right ingredients.

Wye Valley Bitter 3.7 Wye Valley Brewery Ltd

A cornerstone of our range of real ales, this chestnut-coloured wonder is a mouthwatering example of a cask-conditioned bitter.

Tasting Notes: Brewed using Maris Otter and Crystal malts together with locally grown Target and Goldings hops, Wye Valley Bitter has a delicate hoppy aroma leading on to a full malty flavour and ending in a crisp, clean bitter finish.
