Rose In June

A pub serving food in Margate.

The saloon bar of the Rose in June is reminiscent of an East End pub at the turn of the last century. It boasts two bars and a forecourt, and basic bar meals such as chicken and chips and Sunday roasts are on offer. There is live music and karaoke.

Guinness Extra Cold 4.2 Guinness

Black as the night with a creamy tan head with a coffee and mild roasted aroma and flavour. Medium (light) bodied and a soft carbonation, a real mellow sweetness.

Tasting Notes:

Hürlimann Sternbräu 4.8 Shepherd Neame

Hailed as the first lager to be brewed in Kent, this bracing, brusque Swiss beer had its revered recipe enhanced and improved in 2009.

Tasting Notes: Better balanced and more rounded, lime, rose and pears nestle in the nose while on the palate there''s taut graininess, tart grapefruit and a full floral flourish.

Oranjeboom 3.9 Shepherd Neame

A delicious, easy-drinking Dutch drop with a hay-like hue and a herbaceous, grassy and fruity fragrance. Citrus notes on the palate speak softly of orange, kiwi and lemongrass buttressed with a hint of caramel sweetness and a gentle, drifting finish.

Tasting Notes: Fruity, citrus, caramel

Thatchers Gold Cider 4.8 Thatchers Cider

Thatchers Gold tastes as good as it looks. Using the best of our traditional approach and modern techniques for a refreshing cider with a smooth appley taste and a bright sparkle.
