The Swan in the Rushes has been part of the Castle Rock family for over 25 years, before this it was known as the Charnwood public house. The place was closed and seemingly unwanted before the company saw its great potential, gave it a new name and re-opened the doors to a thirsty public. The Swan in the Rushes has remained an integral part of the Loughborough real ale drinking scene ever since, offering a wide range of ten cask ales at any one time, one of which is always a mild, plus 5 traditional ciders.
