The Amberley Inn

The Amberley Inn hotel is first and foremost a rural village pub, where the bar is the hub of life, oak panelled walls, wooden floors and mullioned windows, with roaring fires in the cold winter months (and often in the summer months as well!). Local Real Ales are our speciality , with excellent European wines and depending on the weather, even local wine from just down the hill from the hotel are available. At the Amberley Inn hotel our focus is on comfort- our thirteen bright and airy rooms all have their own bathrooms and have all been refurbished and are now modestly stylish without a scrap of 'boutique'. Sourcing comfortable beds and lovely bedding was the starting point. Then we added soft furnishings and a few extra gadgets like flat screen TV'S and broadband wireless access make this hotel unique in the area. Now we are neither a country hotel in the ruched flowery curtain sense, nor a boutique hotel where cutting edge design precludes hospitality and function. Our aim is simply to offer our guests a relaxing atmosphere with smiling and thoughtful service, interesting food, which reflects our location and season and a comfortable room for a comfortable night's sleep. The beautiful village of Amberley and Minchinhampton Common with stunning views caters for the rest.
