Best 4.1

Five Points Best celebrates both the history of British brewing and the modern craft beer movement. It showcases the Five Points take on beer: influenced by the past but brewed very much for the present. Because, we reckon, why should modern beer always mean new beer styles?

Tasting Notes: Five Points Best is a single-hopped Best Bitter, brewed with Fuggles hops from Hukins Hops. Refreshing and smooth, Best has notes of caramel and biscuit, and a lovely grassy, herbal freshness that makes you want to reach for another one.

Brick Field Brown 5.4

Our take on the traditional English brown ale, coupled with floral American hops.

Tasting Notes: Malt-forward and robust, with earthy aromas and flavours of demerara, smooth oak and hazelnuts. Balanced by the floral, elderberry-like aromas of the Willamette hops.

Citrus Pale 4.2

A thirst-quenching Citrus Pale Ale brewed with organic Sicilian lemon and grapefruit zest. Originally brewed in collaboration with Field Day Festival 2017, we wanted to make a refreshing, zingy and incredibly drinkable pale ale, to be enjoyed throughout the festival season.

Tasting Notes: Think bold citrus aromas of lemon, orange and grapefruit, refreshing bitterness and juicy aromas. Summer in a brimful.

Derailed Porter 5.5

An extra special version of Railway Porter aged on Brettanomyces wild yeast for a minimum of nine months. Released every Autumn and Winter on draught only, our Derailed Porter went down a storm in the ‘Golden Pint’ round-ups of late 2017, especially on cask.

Tasting Notes: Smooth and dry with a little bit of funk, and subtle dark fruit and red-berry flavours.

Five Points Pale 4.4

A fresh, zesty, aromatic pale ale brewed with malted barley, a little wheat, and Amarillo and Citra hops from the West Coast of the USA.

Tasting Notes: The British ale tradition collides head first with the best of the US craft beer movement, resulting in an incredibly drinkable Pale Ale with tonnes of US hop aroma and flavour.

Green Hop 3.7

An English style Bitter, brewed to celebrate cask ale brewing, the late-summer hop harvest, and the spicy-grass, earthy aromas which make green-hopped beers so unique. Green Hop Bitter is brewed with fresh, unprocessed hops picked straight from the bines of Hukins Hops, a fourth generation independently owned hop farm in Kent. The 2018 Green Hop Series was released in October 2018 and featured three different beers each showcasing a different Kentish Hop; Goldings, Fuggle and Bullion. The 2019 Green Hop Series was released in October of this year featuring Bullion, Fuggle and for the first time Ernest, part of their experimental and ‘higher intensity’ British hop range. And in 2021 our Green Hop Bitter featured Bullion and, for the first time, UK Cascade, hops bringing floral and citrus notes to our Green Hop Bitter.

Tasting Notes: Each vintage and hop variety of our Green Hop bitter brings unique aromas and flavours, but expect a clean malt base with a light caramel aroma and earthy, spicy notes provided from Kentish Hops to be present in most.

Hook Island Red 6

A full bodied, aromatic Red Rye ale brewed with malted barley, the addition of 20% Rye to the recipe, and with Chinook, Columbus and Simcoe hops.

Tasting Notes: The Rye in the recipe gives some dryness and spice, and the hops add a dash of pine and passion fruit, but see what you think, everyone's taste buds are different. This is an incredibly flavoursome Red Ale, full of lots of interesting tastes and aromas.

Railway Porter 4.8

A Porter in the classic London style with our own twist. Aromas of chocolate and coffee with hints of caramel, brewed with British East Kent Goldings hops.

Tasting Notes:

XPA 4.0

This straw coloured beer has aromas of citrus, lychee and malt, leading to a juicy, tropical character, with a balanced, subtle bitterness and a gentle, sweet finish.
