The Queens Head

A child friendly pub serving food and a garden in Orpington.

The Queen's Head is a friendly, traditional village pub, offering homemade classic meals, delicious specials and fine ales and wines. It is located in the idyllic village of Downe, within a short drive of Bromley, Orpington and Biggin Hill.

The bar and dining rooms are full of old world charm and character, with open log fires and cosy sofas.

It is a lovely venue for our occasional live music evenings and we are pleased to cater for private parties.

The premises date back to 1565 and brief details of it's history can be found by clicking the link to our History page

At the Queens Head we strive to source our produce from local suppliers.

Keeping your local pub... truly local.
