Welcome to our lovely country pub. Set in the beautiful village of Glynde, East Sussex, within the South Downs National Park we are a traditional village free house specialising in regularly changing local cask ales and world beers by the bottle. The Pub was built in 1865 by John Harvey of Harveys Brewery in Lewes. The land was owned by Henry Trevor, owner of Glynde Estate and the pub is named after him. We bought the pub from Harveys in 2011 and although we are now a free house, we always have at least 1 Harveys beer on tap.
