Tinners Arms

A pub serving food in St Ives.

At Zennor one sees infinite Atlantic, all peacock-mingled colours, and the gorse is sunshine itself. Zennor is a most beautiful place: a tiny granite village nestling under high shaggy moor-hills and a big sweep of lovely sea beyond, such a lovely sea, lovelier even than the Mediterranean..... It is the best place I have been in, I think" (D.H Lawrence 1916).

Porthleven 4.8 The Old Ale House - do not use

Porthleven is a CAMRA-winning premium, fresh, hoppy pale ale for modern palates, made with Cornish water; whole-flower Northdown, Citra and Mount Hood hops; Cornish malted barley and wheat; and Skinner’s unique yeast.

Tasting Notes: Straw-coloured and zesty, with strong citrus aromas, starting with a zip of lemon and lime in the mouth, and ending with a flash of passion fruit. Brings out the best in spicy food, smoked meats and kebabs.

Trelawny 3.8 St Austell Brewery

The unique and harmonious blend of English and South Australian hops gives Trelawny a distinctive character of the old and new world.

Tasting Notes: Toasted Biscuit, Caramel, Jam A delicate apricot aroma is followed by peach and toffee on the palate and a toasted bitter finish. This beer has a strong and loyal following in the South West but its flavour is equally as popular outside of its heartland.
