An exquisitely, golden ale, named after Alfred Wainwright, the renowned Lakeland author who was born in Blackburn.
Tasting Notes: Wainwright is a refreshing golden ale with subtle sweetness from the Maris Otter malts and the special mix of hops give a delicate citrus fruit overtone. Voted World’s Best Golden Ale at the World Beer Awards.
A perfect thirst quencher unlike other ales; this pale golden cask ale has been specially brewed to taste at its peak when chilled. A distinctive gentle bitterness to the hops with refreshing notes of apricot and peach delivers a fruity, floral and citrus aroma, making Altitude a new style of cask ale.
