The Woodbridge Inn started life in 1786 as a typical Wiltshire coaching Inn. It got its name from the old wooden bridge that stretched over the river Avon. Legend has it, that on dark winter nights, a ghostly specter of a Coach and Four gallop over the ‘scales bridge’ at the neighbouring village of Upavon. Then continuing its charge towards The Woodbridge Inn in hopes of sanctuary, from what we shall never know. Why not come down and pay us a visit!

Campsite From £6.00 per person

Here at The Woodbridge Inn we have onsite camping facilities to cater for all your short or long term getaways. The campsite is situated on three acres of land adjacent to the inn with the river Avon flowing through the bottom of the site. On site we have room for 30 + tourers, motorhomes or tents with seven available electrical hook up points on a first come first served basis. Tents from £6.00 per person per night, caravans from £15.00 All site visitors are welcome to our restaurant please call in to book your table in advance. We also have full wash and toilet facilities, chemical disposal point, disabled facilities and a children’s play area. All well behaved pets allowed (maximum two pets). Owners are asked to clean up after their animals and keep them under control. There are several off site facilities, these include: Food Shop 1m, Gas 2m, Launderette 4m, Indoor Heated Pool 4m, Tennis Courts 5m, Fishing 0.2m, Golf Course 2m, Horse Riding 5m,
