This 18th century planned village lies in the heart of beautiful, wide open, unspoilt countryside and is a great central point for visiting many of Aberdeenshire visitor attractions such as Duff House, a magnificent Georgian mansion designed by William Adam standing in extensive parkland and housing a collection of paintings and furniture from the National Galleries of Scotland.
We are situated on the A97 to Banff road and are approximately 11 miles from the nearest mainline train station at Huntly. Traveling by either public transport or car Banff, Huntly and Turriff are less than 20 minutes away making Aberchirder an ideal location for touring the area.
