The Borough Arms

A child and dog friendly pub serving food with Sky TV in Hungerford.

The Borough Arms is a friendly neighbourhood pub in the historic market town of Hungerford, frequented by locals and visitors alike. It’s deceptively spacious inside with comfortable seating for you to relax and enjoy your favourite tipple. Our two toasty wood burners will keep you warm in the colder months, while the patio and large garden outside is perfect to enjoy some warm British sun in the summer.

Originally from South Africa landlady Sylvi Giuliani has made Hungerford her home since 2006. She is passionate about creating a warm, welcoming, comfortable place for you to spend your precious downtime, and brings a touch of her native South Africa to the pub. We're committed to serving great quality beers and ciders on tap, including Wadworth’s award-winning 6X. With a range of wines and a variety of spirits including a selection of premium products, you’re bound to find some liquid refreshment that strikes your fancy behind the bar, served by our friendly bar team.
We don't have a daily food service but we do cater for large booked events so if you're looking for a venue for your birthday, retirement, staff party or wedding, why not have it here! Give Sylvi a call to chat about your needs.

We have regular nights of fun with events on every fortnight, with regular live music events and karaoke being a special favourite! Keep your eye on our events page for details.
Situated at the top of the High Street, we’re a few minutes walk from the centre of town, but well worth the walk. Whichever way you’re headed, do pop in and say hi!
