The beer that changed everything. The first brew they perfected, the beer that made their name with its distinctive bitter, clean and refreshingly dry flavour.
Tasting Notes: Made with only the best Maris Otter malt blended with a variety of English hops, Butcombe Original is the classic session beer.
Our Premium Golden Ale. 4.2% ABV. Brewed for the contemporary taste palate using locally grown and renowned Warminster, floor malted Maris Otter barley.
Tasting Notes: Distinctive and complex flavours and aromas are delivered through a carefully chosen blend of Cascade, Willamette and Mittlefruh hops. The resulting balanced and refreshing finish is achieved through a combination of our pure Cotswold water and unique strain of yeast. A golden artisan ale.
A delightful straw-coloured ale with a wonderful citrus hop aroma. Truly distinctive.
Tasting Notes: HPA is a truly delightful pale ale. It’s smooth on the palate, and boasts a citrus hop aroma leading to a balanced bitter finish. Locally grown Target and Celeia hops play an important part in making this such a distinctive beer. With Maris Otter pale malt and malted wheat also being used, this is very much a pale ale with all the right ingredients.
An extremely clean-drinking pale golden ale with a strong floral aroma and elderflower notes from the Cascade hops. This beer is full-bodied and full-flavoured yet gentle enough to make it a favourite session beer.
Tasting Notes:
The drinkers' favourite, a 4.3% classic pale ale with a complex citrus and hoppy aroma
Tasting Notes: A strong classic ale with a golden amber colour. It has a scent of caramel, light fruits and roasted malt hints.
In recent years its popularity has grown to the extent that it is now Britain’s leading premium ale: a welcome fixture in many pubs and off licences around the country, and now winning new friends abroad.
Tasting Notes: Rich, smooth and elegant on the palate, it draws to a clean, satisfying finish with beautifully balanced bitterness.
