The Elm Tree

A dog friendly pub with WiFi in Cambridge.

Welcome to The Elm Tree!
The Elm is an oasis of difference amongst the chain pubs that dominate the city.
Offering up to 7 ever changing real ales, a variety of keg lines, over 50 Belgian beers, traditional cider on draught and Lyme bay mead.
All this from our small, quirky single bar pub. Take a moment to look around at the memorabilia from breweries long gone; strange bric-a-brac; and reminders of more recent fun times.
We also offer live entertainment on Sunday nights, specialising in Folk, Blues, Country, Spoken Word and Singer/Songwriters.
The pub is candle lit during the evenings, and we have a pleasant outside seating area. Also available are board games and a stock of British, Belgian and world beer guides.
Our new website is coming soon, so please check back for more updates.
We look forward to seeing you soon!

Adnams Southwold Bitter 3.4 Adnams

Southwold Bitter is a beautiful copper-coloured beer, late and dry-hopped with Fuggles for a distinctive, lingering hoppiness. Brewed with the finest East Anglian Pale Ale malt barley, sourced locally to the brewery. We use Fuggles hops which we add late in the boil to preserve the herbal flavours of this traditional English hop. We add more Fuggles to each cask so that the flavour of the hops infuses into the beer. It’s a perfect 3.7% abv in cask and 4.1% abv in bottle and can.
