Little Manor in Old Thelwall was built in 1660 for the Percival family, whose coat of arms we found painted on an interior wall. Naturally, we have adopted the beautiful crest as our pub sign. At that time the house was called Percivals, but it has obviously been extended and enlarged many times since, though it still exudes character in spades.
