The Cock is a semi rural pub and on the Chelford Road on the outskirts of Macclesfield. It has been recently renovated to a very high standard. The pub has a very warm ,friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Well known locally for its home cooked food served, both lunchtimes and evenings. There are car parks on either side of the road from the pub and the paddocks beyond are home to a selection of farm animals, including a new addition of two pygmy goats "bluey" and "snowy". Behind the pub is a patio area with a kids play area and a boules pitch, plus a heated smoking area. The pub itself is a Cask Marque and Robinsons gold award winning pub and proud to stock at least 4 cask beers at any one time. It has weekly entertainment - even a singing landlord who is honestly very good. Ron also appeared on Micheal Barrymore's "my kind of people" tv show.
