This pub was formerly the Three Arrows and had been closed for 6 months and had had a chequered history previously with no real ale being sold. A rising star in the Congleton area. Mike Pickering was the landlord at the Wharf Inn, Congleton for 15+ years as a Punch tenant. He has taken on this license with specific aim of serving locally brewed real ale. The pub is a regular town centre boozer with good ale and lots of interesting local people partaking. Tiled floors with Victorian cast iron fireplace.
