Built in 1938 The Balfour is Sidmouth's only purpose built pub. We offer a warm welcome to locals, visitors, families, business people and dogs and their owners, as well as everyone else! We are a large pub, a bar, a lounge bar, a restaurant, a skittle alley and large enclosed garden with play area. We are lucky to have two very talented chef's working with us, we do not believe in "Chef Mic", our food is cooked to order using fresh local ingredients. As well as our main menu we offer of a snack menu (lunchtimes only) and a selection of daily specials. We are a Cask Marque accredited pub and we pride ourselves in the quality of our ale. We also offer a wide range of ciders, spirits,wines and soft drinks. Come along and visit us and enjoy a freshly prepared meal, a cool drink and a warm welcome.
