The General Sir Redvers Buller

This Wetherspoon pub bears the name of the distinguished general who was born at Downes, the Bullers' fine, seven-bay mansion to the southeast of the town center, in 1839.

Crediton's most celebrated son of modern times was General Sir Redvers Buller. His distinguished military career included campaigns in the Sudan and the Boer War.

As a permanent beer Stone Faced is available throughout the year, a traditional amber bitter.

Tasting Notes: Pale and Dark Crystal Maris Otter malts unite to embrace a motherland of chewy toffee while fruits and berry flavours rush in. Styrian Goldings from the East and Nugget Hops from the West are allied in perfect harmony as pine and citrus hop flavours caress the taste buds.
