Fine Real Ales, Homely open fires and a warm welcome! We offer a great selection of fine real ales,wines spirits and minerals with real fires and great value home cooked food. A community pub at the border of Foxhayes and Exwick we are just next to the Exwick playing fields, opposite the former Civil Service Sports Club, now the Exeter College Sports Hub, and just by the river. On street parking is available nearby and we are on the F1/F2 bus route - just ask for “The Thatch”

Deep amber in colour, it is rich malty-sweet in the mouth with some fruit flavours and a bitter-sweet finish. The aroma is a balance of fruit and malt. Made with finest floor malted barley and premium quality hops. Tasting Notes:
