We are located almost adjacent to Portland Castle, one of Henry VIII’s finest coastal forts used right up to the D-Day landings. To the west, at a brief walking distance, is Chesil Beach, 16 miles of pebble and sand. The famous Portland cliffs with their stunning natural features are an attraction to divers, anglers, birdwatchers, windsurfers, walkers, climbers, geologists and any outdoor enthusiast.
The Green Shutters accommodation is three minutes’ walk from Osprey Quay and the Weymouth & Portland National Sailing Academy where the 2012 olympic sailing events will place.
