The Bistro itself has been serving Golfers, Horse Racing supporters and locals from the surrounding area since 1822. Mrs Forman’s has had a number of owners but has always had a family atmosphere and over the last few years has been run by husband and wife team Kenneth and Nancy Rafferty.
Between them they have turned this quiet little Bistro into one of the best eating places in Musselburgh while keeping to the traditional décor and maintaining a nice relaxed dining experience. As Nancy has over 15 years’ experience as a Chef all the food is freshly made in house with a Scottish feel using only fresh local produce.
