Ever since 1472, the Bull I' Th' Thorn has offered a warm welcome to travellers and the local farming community. During the 18th and 19th century it was a coaching inn on the route between Manchester and Derby. Today, customers can still expect the friendly service with excellent food and traditional ales in olde-worlde surroundings with a roaring log fire in winter.
