Gold Star Pale Ale 4.2

A smooth easy drinking blonde pale ale, brewed in keeping with a Shipstone’s beer. Using quality pale malt and is double hopped with Fuggle’s and dry hopped with Cascade.

Tasting Notes: This pale ale is a beer for all palates and offers a light, smooth and refreshing taste. The aroma is a blend of freshly picked hops with wonderful citrus notes. The flavour has a malty velvet feel that balances perfectly with a zest of citrus, providing a flowery subtle finish that clears and won’t linger.

India Pale Ale 5.5

A true English IPA, more golden than its modern counterparts, full bodied and well balanced.

Tasting Notes: The large amount of hops used in this brew gives it a fresh floral aroma with plenty of citrus and grape- fruit. The flavour is full bodied and well rounded without the dominace of hops in an American IPA. The sweetness of the malt layers along with the citrus notes of the hops join together in perfect harmony for a traditional yet destinctive IPA.

Mild 3.5

A proper traditional English mild, dark, sweet and very light.

Tasting Notes: The aroma is a fusion of roasted nuts and chocolate caramel. Its flavour being soft and sweet with a mix of dark ripe fruits and silky smooth pastries. It is surprisingly light and totally moreish.

Nut Brown Ale 4.0

This great English brown ale has a rich nut brown colour, it is full of body and is exceptionally moreish.

Tasting Notes: An aroma of freshly baked bread, roasting chestnuts and a hint of Nutella. The flavor is full of depth, fusing butterscotch and mild liquorice, caramel and roasted cacao and yet still retains that malty finish one would expect.

Original Bitter 3.8

A true English session ale which is crowded in simplicity yet full of flavor.

Tasting Notes: An enticing aroma of resinous hop and sweet roasted malt. The flavor being a balanced blend of succulent dried fruit, lightly roasted malt and a subtle yet assertive bitterness. With a dry and refreshing finish.
