The Blue Bell Inn is a friendly, traditional pub set in the heart of the popular Georgian market townof Melbourne in Derbyshire.
The pub dates back to 1740 and is situated just yards from the popular 11th century norman parish church and the picturesque melbourne pool. Our covered, heated patio area is the perfect spot to relax after a walk or a stroll around the shops , and enjoy a pint of our most popular tipple, "The Reverend Eaton's " which is brewed by Shardlow Brewing Company . The Blue Bell is the "brewery tap" for the brewery and people come for miles to sample our real cask ales, along with the numerous other beers and wines available.
We serve homemade food, from bar snacks to something more substantial, depending on your appetite. On sundays we do a very popular traditional sunday roast with all the trimmings, or if you prefer, we provide a takeaway sunday roast service, ideal if you don't feel like cooking yourself.
