Snaith is the most westerly part of the East Riding of Yorkshire being close to The Pennine Way is popular with cyclists and walkers alike. There are 15 walks known as The Heritage Walks ranging from 1.50 miles to 8.75 miles some suitable for disabled persons in wheelchairs. Our recently refurbished accommodation in a Mews Type Building is set away from the main Pub. The Pub was built circa 1800 and had one of the first female landladies of the time, on the first floor which had many uses over the years was once the local courthouse, also across the road is the lock up for people who had too much to drink etc; which is still standing, (but not used), the Licensee now is Siobhan, the bar manager her mother and the chef her father so it really is a family run business. Why not come down and pay us a visit!
