With some of the best views you'll find from any pub, The Starbank looks out over the Firth of Forth to Fife, making it a magnet for locals and passers-by. Dog-walkers are particularly appreciative of the bar's canine-friendly policy; so too are families, who can bring the kids into the food areas. Warm and welcoming, it's a homely place with model ships on the window-sill, historic photographs on the walls and a large wood-panelled central bar.
