Jim and Lin Morton run the pub. The Queen's Head is a traditional and friendly back street local which was refurbished in 2009, subsequently winning the prestigious CAMRA 'Joe Goodwin' award. Four ales are offered mainly from micro breweries including Wibblers and Dark Star as regulars.
Food is available at all times and includes home baked filled huffers, curries and chillies all home cooked by the Landlord and his wife Lin. Home make pickled eggs are a specialty.
Folk nights are held on the last Sunday every month. Darts & pool played. Dogs welcome. There is a sheltered beer garden. Free public car park opposite.
A beer festival is held August Bank Holiday weekend.
