Grey Trees’ modern CAMRA award-winning golden ale.
Tasting Notes: Alive with fresh citrus aromas which leave a subtle bitterness. Crafted with Marris Otter pale malt, US hops, Welsh water and Grey Trees’ passion.
Pale, hoppy, modern ale alive with citrus flavours and a smooth aftertaste
Tasting Notes:
This beer is dark, strong and well rounded; the richness of such a rotund beer is brought to an even keel by the late addition of Golding’s hops and natural plum flavouring.
Tasting Notes: Well-rounded porter with fruity, sweet notes over a backdrop of hoppy flavour. Deep red in colour but not in taste, the plum lightens the deepness on the palate.
Black Road Stout is an unadulterated stout.
Tasting Notes: Dark, smooth and comforting with delicate roasted flavours and a bitter-sweet aftertaste that creates a lasting memory. Crafted with Marris Otter malt, roast barley, wheat, oatmeal, Goldings Hops, Welsh water and Grey Trees’ passion.
Tasting Notes: Oats and Caragold in the mash give a light pale colour and a fuller, softer, mouthfeel. British Olicana and Jester hops in the boil add a fruity, soft bitterness. Ekuanot, Simcoe and Citra in the whirlpool and dry-hop add citrus fruit flavours.
Grey Trees Afghan Pale Ale is crafted like an American pale ale. They use Cascade, Citra and Simcoe hops.
Tasting Notes: The Maris Otter malt provides a perfect light colour and dryness to complement the crisp taste and full aroma of the hops. This gives a tropical hop aroma, paired with the unique taste combination of these three distinctive hop varieties, making it both full in flavour and crisply thirst-quenching.
The drinkers’ favourite, a classic pale ale with a complex citrus and hoppy aroma.
A beautiful bitter.
Tasting Notes: Copper in colour, with a crisp flavour and a dry finish. Crafted with Crystal and Caragold Malt, Challenger and Goldings hops, Welsh water and passion.
Pale, smooth and lightly hopped.
Tasting Notes: Fresh hop prescence and balanced malt body, quaffable session beer.
Our flagship beer and still our most popular beer. A traditional English bitter, at 4.0% ABV
Tasting Notes: Chestnut in colour, first impressions of fresh bitterness are brought upon by the finest Fuggle hops, with slight nutty, caramel undertones followed by a bitter-sweet finish.
