Tasting Notes: The famous ‘pint of Brains’ is rich amber coloured, well balanced and refreshing. Goldings and Fuggles hops from The Welsh Marches create an appetising crisp aroma to complement the subtle flavour of fine pale malt. Brewed since the 1920s and still winning awards today, Brains Dark was the most popular pint of generations of Cardiff workers. A smooth, malty beer with a treacle colour and creamy head, it has hints of liquorice and freshly ground coffee.
