0161 Manchester Blonde (CASK) 3.8

We decided to keep it local with the name of this one, you can't get much more local than the area code! As you'd expect from our blondes

Tasting Notes: it's light on the malt and focuses on a fruit forward hop profile, with Cashmere and being the more unusual additions to the recipe. Cascade, Simcoe and Columbus hops also make an appearance and as it's dry hopped in the fermenter it's a powerfully fragrant beer.

Abyss Stout 5.0

Sometimes, simplicity in a brewing recipe can bring about the purest pleasure, and with this stout, that was our aim. By focusing on the grist specifically, we have created a beer you can relax into.

Tasting Notes: with rich, deep roasted malt and creamed coffee flavours, uninterrupted by noisy hops. Oats bring added smoothness and a gentle savoury character to the finish.

Belgian Wheat 7.0

Something awesome happens when Belgian yeast is used to make beer, creating instantly recognizable flavours.

Tasting Notes: In this brew, we've captured the vibrant bittersweet orange and subtle spice side to the yeasts multifaceted personality. Being only lightly filtered, a characteristic haze, soft mouthfeel and juicy fruit flavours combine to belie the beer's 7% ABV.

Brew Hoppy IPA 4.5

A cuppa to warm you up on a cold day, or a pint in the pub at the end of the week; giving someone a brew will always make them happy!

Tasting Notes: In Brew Hoppy Pale, we work on a moderately malty base and dry hop with Citra, Mosaic and Styrian Wolf pellets to create a craft beer full of fleshy, juicy fruits with a zesty citrus peel zing to the finish. Left hazy for a fuller mouthfeel and flavour.

B-Side Gold 4.2
B-Side Golden Ale (CASK) 4.2

Originally part of our 'Manchester Icon' range, this beer is our tribute to the Manchester music scene. Brewed as a refreshing session style ale,

Tasting Notes: it's pale golden in colour with a mild bitterness and a vibrant fruity hop flavour: The perfect gig partner!

Chuck American Brown Ale 4.0

American Brown Ale is their version of our traditional Best Bitter, being just a touch more bitter on the finish thanks to the use of US grown hops; in this case Cascade.

Tasting Notes: Roast barley, Crystal Medium & Dark, plus Munich are among the malts which give this beer its deep roasted malt flavours, burnt caramel and gentle malt sweetness, and of course its rich colour. It's pleasantly refreshing with well integrated hop flavours.

DDH Pale 4.9

Dry hopping is a way for brewers to add more hop flavour and aromatics to a beer without bringing extra bitterness to the party, so it follows that doubling this process levels up the sensory adventure. In this DDH Pale

Tasting Notes: we've extracted flavours from the rest hops (Crystal and Cascade hop cones) and then used cryo-hops and hop extract (Simcoe & Citra) plus regular hop pellets (Centennial) during fermentation to bring you a hugely exciting, juicy, flavour experience. GLUTEN FREE & VEGAN

Donker Belgian Dark 6.9

In spite of its heavier ABV, this semi-opaque treacle coloured beer is brewed to be relatively light-bodied and therefore pleasingly refreshing.

Tasting Notes: The flavours touch on coffee, liquorice and raisin, and having been aged for 8 months in sour mash barrels, the charred oak and whisky notes really show through. Fermentation with a Belgian yeast naturally creates a gentle edge of juicy sourness on the finish, and overall gives the beer a unique flavour profile.

Double Down DIPA 7.3

Double Down seemed appropriate for a beer brewed in Lockdown 3.0...We've scaled up the dry hopping, reduced filtration and boosted the ABV to give you a beer that's 100% Southern Hemisphere awesomeness.

Tasting Notes: With the extra malt, the fresh hop flavours from Galaxy, Waimea and Nelson Sauvin are bolstered and balanced out by toasty caramel notes and a rich biscuity base.

Freyja Pale 3.8

The goddess of all the good stuff and counterpart in the afterlife to Odin in the Norse pantheon, Freyja seemed like the perfect name for the newest incarnation of our best selling blonde.

Tasting Notes: Using Odin as a base, we've stepped it up by heavily dry hopping it in the FV with Amarillo and Citra pellets (the same hops we use at rest) to super enhance what you already love about about the beer. GLUTEN FREE & VEGAN

Tasting Notes: We make our lager using the classic European noble hops Hallertauer and Saaz which are synonymous with the traditional European style.

Inn Crowd Dark Mild (CASK) 4.0

Tasting Notes: Melanoidin malt, dark crystal and roast barley are the key flavour contributors to a grist which also contains rolled oats for that characteristic smooth, creamy texture. Vanguard hops provide a discreet extra layer of flavour, and the final touch of bitterness.

Tasting Notes:

Keller Lager 4.0

Keller (pronounced Keh-luh) is German for cellar and is our a nod to when German lagers were stored (lagered) underground in ice-filled rooms to allow for low temperature, slow maturation.

Tasting Notes: Keller is deliciously crisp and refreshing; a classic Helles brewed with Hallertauer Mittelfruh & Blanc hops with mild hop flavours and low bitterness which make it deliciously thirst quenching. GLUTEN FREE & VEGAN

Maverick (CASK) 4.8

One of our longest serving beers, Maverick is an easy drinking, delicious IPA brewed with 100% American hops

Tasting Notes: Lightly caramelized malts provide the central core, but the American Cascade is the main attraction bringing bold grapefruit and floral aromas to the beer, which finishes with a clean, refreshing bitterness.

Northern Lights Porter 4.8

Hearty comfort foods and cosy fires with dark beers to match are what we most look forward to as the temperature drops, so here's a beer to fit that picture. This one is a sturdy porter, brewed with a typically robust malt bill and balanced with Simcoe hops to create a nuanced, subtle hop character.

Tasting Notes: You can expect smokey coffee aromatics, and dark fruit with a hint of licorice on the palate, and a touch of sweetness on the malty finish.

Spotlight Blonde Ale 4.8

This is the first beer we've ever brewed that was brought about by a hop stocktake! Lance was looking through our delicious stash, clipboard and pen in hand, and was inspired to blend some of our more unusual hops together with some of the fancier varieties.

Tasting Notes: The resulting blonde was brewed with Ultra & Simcoe, and dry hopped with Mosaic and Pekko, so as you'd expect it's floral and fruity, deliciously aromatic with a lingering zingy bitter finish.

Treacle from a Stranger amber is a tasty malty amber ale to which we've added a touch of treacle flavouring to remind you of Bonfire night. guess, we were struggling with the name (!!) so we fell back on our old faithful online song title generator...and this is what came out!

Wildside Millionaire's Shortbread Porter 4.5

Continuing the theme of our Wildside dessert stouts and porters, up next is the delicious Millionaire's Shortbread Porter. We've taken a deliciously rich, smooth porter, and added to it the essence of what makes a Millionaire's Shortbread so seductive.

Tasting Notes: Of course we couldn't actually dunk a gigantic piece of cake into the fermenter in a Willy Wonker style move, but we hope that the flavour we have achieved is something close to if we had ;-)

Wildside Punch Pale 4.2

Summer time means fruity beer time! This is the fun one you take to BBQ parties but don't put in the communal pile…the one you keep just near your feet in the hopes nobody sees ;-) We've pulled together our favourite tropical fruity flavours and layered them over a fruity-hopped golden ale to bring you maximum refreshment.

Tasting Notes: As always, this is very definitely a beer enhanced by a fruity extra dimension, but which finishes dry - not fruit juice with a hint of beer ;-)

Wildside Raspberry & Lime Radler 3.8
