The pub is a traditional local which has a number of interesting features including wood beams. There is a comfortable lounge and a separate games room with pool and darts. This opens out into a small outdoor area with a covered smoking area. Two cask ales are always available, and the Royal Oak also has live acts, disco and karaoke at weekends.
