Built in 1898 by WEV Crompton, this beautiful classic period pub has seven handpumps celebrating Draught Bass along with Banks Sunbeam, Courage Directors. It also supports local breweries by regularly serving beers from Hophurst, Prospect, Wily Fox and Wigan Brewhouse.
Impressive stained glass window in the pub and a collection of old photos of the town, the railway and rugby league.
