The Blind Pig is whatever you want it to be; somewhere to relax, somewhere to work; somewhere to grab a coffee; or just to unwind with friends in the evening, there are no rules here – it’s simply somewhere to make your own!
The 'Blind Pig', another term for the 1920’s American Prohibition era Speakeasy. Whilst we have taken inspiration from this era, “The Blind Pig” with its recent makeover is a thoroughly Modern Millie. We deliver English classics (with a twist) in a warm, comfortable and relaxed environment.
Our day starts at 10am, where you can grab a shot of Java to wake you up to go or sit in. For those with a little more time on their hands are welcome to join us for breakfast, whether it’s the Traditional Full English or our ever popular Eggs Benedict.
Pop in for a natter with friends and sample our delicious hot drinks, specialist “teapigs” brews, homemade cakes or take a pick off our simple home cooked menu. We are family friendly, with plenty of room for the Bugaboo and baby changing facilities on site, plus menu selection for your little people.
Need somewhere comfortable and relaxing to work? We offer completely free high speed Wi-Fi and no hunting for a plug for the laptop-we’ve added plenty to keep you charged up.
As the sun sets on Monton Village, watch us dim the lights, up the music and transform into the perfect spot for casual dining and drinks. For those looking to kick back and relax or maybe you prefer something more upbeat we have a variety of different acts and music to suit everyone’s taste.
Having been on the high street for a couple of years and watched how Monton is slowly becoming so up and coming, we’ve carefully considered what our Monton locals and beyond want. We have a selection of draught beers and for those cider lovers, cider is available on draught. Maybe you prefer it by the bottle, then we have a variety of bottled beers, ciders and an extensive wine list. Bubbles I hear you say? Why not grab yourself a bottle of prossecco and see what the evening has to offer.
Adding a bit of theatre our mixologists have created an exciting cocktail list, delivering the classics and our own special concoctions. Get swept off your feet with the “Tall, Dark and Handsome” long drink or the naughtily named but cheekily done “Pornstar Martini”- just one is never enough!
