Woodthrope Hotel

A venue serving food in Prestwich.

Dating back to 1851, The Woodthorpe was bought by Joseph Holt’s son; Sir Edward, in 1890 and was originally Edward Holt’s family home. In April 2012, a new menu was introduced, with a vast range of speciality dishes, along with a weekend Carvery offering. Homemade gateaux, desserts and cakes, are also on offer, which you can take away via Joey’s Cake Away service.

Dine in the cosy and traditional bar area, or the luxurious Carvery and Function Room, which is available to hire for any occasion. There is a full range of traditional Joseph Holt real ales, together with carefully selected wines from around the world. It also has a superb outdoor heated and covered terrace with beer garden. Additionally, the Woodthorpe was one of the first to receive The Cloud wifi service, offering guests free wifi when visiting the pub.

The Woodthorpe caters for all types of functions and parties and has an extensive wedding reception package including three en suite bedrooms.
