This Wetherspoon pub is named after Commander John Wallace Linton, who was born at Claremont House, Malpas, Newport, in 1905. Tubby Linton, as he was known to his fellow officers, was posthumously awarded the Victoria Cross in 1943.

This SIBA award-winning refreshing brew is named after Welsh heroine Jemima Nicholas. At the 1797 Battle of Fishguard she rounded up and captured 12 drunk French soldiers, armed only with a pitch fork. A true Welsh original. Tasting Notes: A crisp pale brew with chinook and eldorado hops producing brilliant undertones of citrus, pear and melon.
