The Prince Arthur

A child friendly pub serving food with WiFi in Fleet.

Fleet’s development as a town was due, in large measure, to the nearby army camp at Aldershot. In the 1890s, its commanding officer was Prince Arthur, third son of Queen Victoria. During his time in charge, Prince Arthur lived in Fleet. This was the first shop in Fleet with two entrances and had ‘a good turnover of groceries, including butter and tea’.

Black Adder 5.3 Mauldons Brewery

A dark bitter stout. Roast and nut aromas with a fruity balance of hops and dark malt provide an excellent, lingering finish

Tasting Notes: Truly complex beer that connoisseurs will enjoy. A roasty, somewhat salty aroma with a hint of fruit introduces a chocolate palate that’s very light textured for the strength. Hints of red fruit, coffee and spicy bitterness come through.
