The Cherry Tree

A pub in Lutterworth.

THE CHERRY TREE: FREE HOUSE + TEA HOUSE

Based on Main Street in the little village of Catthorpe, just a stone's throw from Rugby, Lutterworth and major road networks (M1, M6, A14 and A5), with plenty of parking on site, hides a modern take on the traditional Free House, truly independent and free of tie.

After being closed and empty for over a year during the pandemic and months of renovation, the old girl dusted herself off and has now been welcoming customers, both new and old, since the doors were reopened by Chris, Amy and Bertie (the pub collie) in June 2021.

When you walk through the doors you're greeted with the vibe of a good old village pub; plenty of charm, bags of character and dogs curled up in front of open fires. Not to mention the smell of good food, and of course, a great selection of drinks to suit every taste and mood.

There is something for everyone with a tasty selection of meaty, veggie, vegan and gluten-free dishes made with local produce wherever possible. That goes for the drinks too, with great local ale (including village brewed Dow Bridge ales), British spirits, English wines, loose leaf teas and espresso coffees and much more.
