Following an extensive refurbishment, new landlords Lionel and Sue are bringing a family touch to the Waterside Inn. Right on the edge of the river by the lock, the stunning setting makes your visit extra special - whether you are looking for a lunchtime snack, a family meal or a drink overlooking the canal.
Inside, the original features have been retained, whilst at the same time giving a contemporary, comfortable feel. The setting in the summer is fabulous, but equally in winter, the snug and real fire make for a warm cosy atmosphere. So it's really the best of both worlds!
Sue is in charge of front of house, ably assisted by son Lyam and Restaurant Manager Danny, whilst husband Lionel is in charge of the kitchen team.
There are extensive menus of home-cooked food all freshly prepared by Lionel, using local suppliers where possible. We can also cater for larger groups (and those arriving by boat)! So have a look at our menus and call to book your table today.
