The Gas Lamp Lounge

A bar in LOUTH.

The Gas Lamp Lounge came about as we couldn't get our beers into Louth pubs so we converted the ground floor of the brewery building.

The building was built in 1826 as the head offices of the Louth Gas Light Company and it still has it's original arched wooden windows.
To keep with the original purpose we refitted it with working gas lighting and it is heated by a large cast iron stove.

There is no music, no food or TV, it is just a cosy small pub for people to each other with a quality pint. We are also dog friendly so long as the owners behave.

The pub has already won various awards and is featured on the micro pub association web site.
