Alchemy 5.3

An elegant and refined golden premium beer to appeal to all tastes. Perfectly balanced tropical citrus hops and subtle french toast malts – this remarkably vivid and refreshing ale is fiendishly easy drinking!

Tasting Notes:

Alegate 4.0

A wonderfully crisp and refreshing pale-gold best bitter. The delicate but vibrant grapefruit theme is enhanced by Nelson Sauvin hops which gently evoke the feel of a fine New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc.

Tasting Notes:

Autumn Gold 4.3

A vividly golden bitter of real distinction. A robust, carefully pitched blend of choice hops gives this refined seasonal ale plenty of year-round appeal.

Tasting Notes:

Barkstons Bitter 3.6

A distinctive yet easy drinking session bitter that commemorates our new location at beautiful Barkston Heath in Lincolnshire.

Tasting Notes: This beer is both vivid and mellow, with delicious waves of softly spiced citrus and an ultra-smooth malt base. A classic style beer at its modern day best.

Beattys Tonic 4.2

An annual, commemorative pale-gold bitter in honour of Sir William Beatty, Admiral Nelson’s surgeon at the battle of Trafalgar. This aromatic, subtly spiced and gently fruity ale is an appropriately noble brew.

Tasting Notes:

Best Bitter 4.3

Traditional, well rounded and brewed with a trio of English hops. Of course, being an Oldershaw beer, it has to have something to make it truly unique – so, American Willamette hops make a welcome appearance.

Tasting Notes:

Blonde Volupta 5.0

A uniquely zesty straw-gold premium beer. Packed with complexity and intense tropical fruit flavours – the recipe is a well guarded secret. Citra hops have been spotted at Oldershaw on brew days… but that’s all that’s known!

Tasting Notes:

Byards Leap 4.3

A radiant and inviting golden bitter. Cluster and Sterling hops combine deliciously to create this aromatic and fruity beer. Deftly pitched caramel hints provide perfect balance and a well rounded finish.

Tasting Notes:

Caskade 4.2

With all the glow of a midsummer sunrise, this popular golden ale is a thirst quenching and complex beer with a truly broad appeal.

Tasting Notes: Lightly bitter, subtly floral, and buzzing with zesty citrus, soft fruits and spices – it benefits greatly from the Cascade hop from which it takes it’s name.

Flag Fen Ale 4.0

A light-gold best bitter with a playful citrus character. Light in body as well as colour, much of the floral sharpness and the crisp citrus ‘twang’ stems from the use of Sovereign, the British ‘hedgerow’ hop.

Tasting Notes:

Grantham Dark 3.6

A rich russet brown, this ale is a wonderfully smooth and satisfying mild.

Tasting Notes: Well hopped, gently fruity with a solid malt base. Available in April and May only – but certainly worth the wait.

Grantham Stout 4.3

A rich, smooth and playfully delicious stout. Nuanced aromas, subtly complex flavours and darkly seductive in appearance – this is a uniquely ‘Lincolnshire’ beer to satisfy and savour.

Tasting Notes:

Great Charter 0.0
Great Expectations 4.2

An instant classic.

Tasting Notes: A pale gold beer incorporating citrus-rich galaxy and cascade hops.

Harrowby Pale Ale 3.9

Oldershaw’s take on this classic beer style is an elegant, golden coloured treat. A gently dry hoppy bitterness makes way for a lasting biscuity malt finish. An easy drinking, highly sessionable beer.

Tasting Notes:

Heavenly Blonde 3.8

This pale blonde beer has become a real head turner. Packed with zesty, super-refreshing tropical fruits with a strikingly crisp, dry finish.

Tasting Notes:

Hello! 4.5

A welcoming beer full of happy citra and cascade hops, with hints of lemon zest, balanced on a smooth lager malt base.

Tasting Notes: Taste: Smooth, Crisp, Citrus Twist Smell: Delicate Hop, Lemon, Malt

Hollydaze 4.1

A triple-hopped seasonal ale packed with enough high-intensity citrus energy to keep the festive season buzzing. A lasting biscuit finish adds further jollity to this dazzling Christmas treat.

Tasting Notes:

Mowbray's Mash 3.7

A sublimely moreish gold-tinted amber ale. Delta and Cascade hops add a zesty, fruity edge to a softly nutty base. A very fine session ale.

Tasting Notes:

Newtons Drop 4.1

Oldershaw’s second best-selling beer. A copper bronze best bitter with sumptuous caramel and roasted nut malts, grassy hops and a lasting bitter finish. A widely admired ale.

Tasting Notes:

Old Boy 4.8

A much demanded classic-style premium ale. Rich chestnut in colour, full bodied and effortlessly characterful, with a delicious blend of choice hops rising above a warm, nutty malt base. A very popular brew.

Tasting Notes:

Posh Blonde 4.3

A deliciously crisp and refined lager-style beer.

Tasting Notes: All the sophistication of a prime continental beer is beautifully enhanced by quintessentially British fruit, floral and herb notes. A wonderfully bitter, citrus-infused delight.

Regal Blonde 4.4

A crisp and refreshing lager-style light gold beer. A dynamic array of vivid citrus flavours – tropical fruits, apple, peach and more – comes courtesy of a choice blend of continental European and American hops including Saaz, Hersbrucker and Cascade.

Tasting Notes:

Sunnydaze 4.0

A shimmering seasonal pale-gold wheat beer. This zesty summertime treat is the perfect thirst quencher, brimming with floral and citrus notes, and with a notable orange ‘kick’.

Tasting Notes:

Yuletide 5.2

A powerhouse festive dark-amber beer. This seasonal premium ale is a quadruple-hopped Christmas delight, full of bittersweet fruits, subtle orange-peel and aromatic spices. Fiendishly drinkable.

Tasting Notes:

Zest 3.8

Zest, based on our very popular Heavenly Blonde recipe this wonderfully refreshing beer uses lemon peel to give it real zing; hoppy bitterness, with delicate hints of citrus. A stunning beer.
