The Holly Bush

A pub serving food in Hampstead.

A real gem of a London local, The Holly Bush is a charming centuries-old pub in the heart of historic Hampstead. Step inside the grade II listed building and you’ll discover a wealth of cosy corners to call your own – the perfect place to enjoy fabulous food, ales and wine. Catering for up to 60 people, our upstairs function room provides a great space for special occasions. But sometimes, we know you’ll fancy a much more intimate celebration – book the 10-seater Lady Hamilton Suite for a private dining experience to remember.

More than 200 years old, the pub is engrained in Hampstead history – and it feels that way the moment you walk in the door. Our real fire, ornate etched glass panels and authentic wooden floors lend a traditional feel to the place, while there’s local nostalgia lining the walls.

Bengal Lancer 5.0 Fuller's Brewery

Inspired by the classic India Pale Ales of times gone by, Fuller’s Bengal Lancer redefines Eastern promise. With a full-bodied flavour and spicy character, it’s an IPA that grabs the reins and leads from the front.

Tasting Notes: Conjuring a landscape of sandstorms and sunsets, Bengal Lancer pours a pale amber colour. On the palate, orange, character is followed by floral and spicy notes from the hops – riding through to a satisfying finish of mild bitterness. Great with a curry, Bengal Lancer cuts through to refresh the palate and add its own gentle touch of spice.

Butcombe Original 4.0 Butcombe Brewing Co.

The beer that changed everything. The first brew they perfected, the beer that made their name with its distinctive bitter, clean and refreshingly dry flavour.

Tasting Notes: Made with only the best Maris Otter malt blended with a variety of English hops, Butcombe Original is the classic session beer.

Jack Frost 4.5 Fuller's Brewery

A winter ale brewed with blackberries

Tasting Notes: Brewed with Crystal malt and a dash of blackberries, Jack Frost nips at the nose with a faintly fruity aroma. There are toasted notes, too, from the darker malts while dried-fruit flavours and a hint of brown sugar linger warmly on the palate. Enjoy it with classic winter dishes such as pies, stews and roast meats.

London Pride 4.1 Fuller's Brewery

In recent years its popularity has grown to the extent that it is now Britain’s leading premium ale: a welcome fixture in many pubs and off licences around the country, and now winning new friends abroad.

Tasting Notes: Rich, smooth and elegant on the palate, it draws to a clean, satisfying finish with beautifully balanced bitterness.

Seafarers 3.6 Fuller's Brewery

Light refreshing English bitter

Tasting Notes: Faintly fruity on the nose, this light amber beer sails a steady course through well-developed malt character towards a satisfying, hoppy finish. The Gales yeast brings out soft fruit flavours, while the hops impart a zesty, spicy quality to the brew.
