The Vauxhall Griffin was established in 2007; an independent and traditional pub which offers a very warm and friendly welcome to everyone. Located in a quiet side street in Vauxhall, the pub has served the community for over 150 years. We pride ourselves on our reputation for good quality food, award winning real ales and a great selection of refreshments, including the mighty Griffin Burger. The menu changes seasonally and there is always a good variety of home made dishes, from hearty pies, lasagne, Cumberland bangers and mash, to sandwiches and snacks.

Originally brewed to commemorate the Battle of Sole Bay, fought over 300 years ago off the coast of Southwold, it’s since earned a special place in beer drinkers’ hearts.

Tasting Notes: A light-coloured lager style, it presents full malt character with a balanced clean hop bitterness. Combined with a slightly hoppy, but yeasty/malty nose, Foster's lager is a full bodied beer with excellent drinkability.

This single hop beer is made with Mosaic hops at each of the four stages of the brew process. This imparts bold hop characteristics, including peach, mango, lemon and pine flavours and aromas.
