While it may or may not be Edinburgh's oldest pub, there is nothing to dispute the pub's warm and friendly atmosphere. It is much more than a tourist pub, and guest ales include Belhaven IPA, 80 Shilling and Dark Island.

Full flavoured, smooth and mature taste with fruit cake characters , a malty richness and superb hop balance.

Tasting Notes: Mahogany in colour and brewed for longer to create a rich malty, and mature flavour.
Pentland Ipa 3.9 Stewart Brewing Ltd

A golden dry ale, with slight fruit tones and moderate bitterness. Fresh hop cones are added in four stages to contribute a more complex character, resulting in an easy to drink ale that offers refreshment with a little extra spice.
