David, Janet and Richard Fowler welcome you to their restaurant and bar situated opposite picturesque Aberdare Park. A family business run along traditional lines for almost 50 years. In the early 70's we were featured on television in Wales Today and TV AM, whilst also finding time for a live radio broadcast on Newsbeat.
We introduced catering 30 years ago and have never looked back, building up a reputation for fine food, utilising fresh, local produce whenever possible. With customers travelling from far afield to enjoy our unusual and original recipes, not forgetting the popularity of our old established dishes. Gourmet specials, run every six weeks or so, entail a complete evening of three specialy prepared courses, followed by cheese and port and concluding with freshly made coffee, all at a set price.
